Dials 0–5

0 muted through 5 dominant. Store dials by org profile. Revisit quarterly. Regulated banks weight Guardian high. Design-led scaleups may weight Pathfinder higher after fences exist.

Session protocol

Chair opens with the decision and sequence. Members speak in turn on the active mode. Park off-mode points. Chair closes with Insight → Action → owners on panes.

Always-on weighting

You can bias answers by dials without a full session. Solo member mode asks one voice on a live issue. Full sessions for renewals, seat sprays, and board packs.

Is this mandatory ceremony?

No. Use it when pilots stall, ownership is fuzzy, or spend outruns value.

Can one person play all six roles?

Yes in small teams, still one mode at a time.

How do dials relate to Wave 0?

Guardian and Steward start high. Pathfinder stays bounded until Steady holds.
