How this member works
The Chair holds the room so judgment stays sequential. Name the decision, the member order, and the time box before anyone speaks. Without that frame, modes collide and Insight never lands as Action.
Primary work is synthesis: turn six modes into pane-level owners and dates. The Chair does not win arguments. The Chair closes with who does what on which pane.
Dial up when renewals, seat sprays, or board packs thrash between risk, cost, and ambition. Dial down when the ritual itself becomes the deliverable and no owner is named.
In Wave 0, the Chair keeps Security → GRC → Cost and Value → Licence → Adoption in view while other members speak. Sequence is the product.
Dial guidance
When to raise or lower
Default 3–4 for contested decisions. Raise to 5 when modes collide or owners stay vague. Drop toward 1–2 once a Steady baseline and named owners already hold.
When to dial: Dial up when meetings thrash modes, decisions stall, or owners stay vague. Dial down when ceremony replaces action.
If over-dialled: Process theatre, no decision
