What it does

Microsoft Viva Insights and Copilot Analytics are coming to Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud High (GCC High), providing eligible organizations with privacy-protected, role-based analytics experiences to help them understand Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption, usage, and impact. Viva Insights also provides data-driven behavioral insights into how employees collaborate, helping organizations improve productivity and wellbeing within the GCC High environment.

Why you should care

  • Board: Track as Horizon signal; decide whether it changes Wave 0 priority or stays on the watchlist.
  • CISO: Confirm identity, data access, and overshare exposure before enabling for broad cohorts.
  • CFO: Metering change: set budgets, owners, and reclaim rules before open consumption.
  • Adoption: Use for measurement of behaviour change; feed Pane 08 Adoption and Pane 06 Cost & Value.

Suggested action

Wave 0 first: Security → GRC → Cost & Value → Licence → Adoption. Add to Horizon watchlist with an owner. Pilot only after Steady controls for the affected surface are in place.
